Our friend Iban says that Kukuxumusu is the fear factory because you never know what you’re going to find around here. We love it when people say things like that because being unpredictable is the best thing you can be. Anyway, there are some things we’ll always stick by; things we’re not going to change unless you really nag us.

We’re a crazy mix of ideas, people and designs. And you can find us on a whole load of brilliant stuff that you can wear, give away, drink, carry, smoke, use… We’re much cheaper than a visit to the shrink and there are no after-effects.
KUKUXUMUSU=KISS OF THE FLEA
Kukuxumusu is Basque for “kiss of the flea”. It’s a nonsense word we came up with back in 1989 when things still had simple, easy-to-say names. If you say it with a dry biscuit in your mouth, you will frighten off any bad spirits. And good ones too, come to that.
ANTIDOTE AGAINST ROTTEN DAYS
As all those super-happy, super-cheesy brands say, life is great, but sometimes it stinks, so surrounding yourself with good humour is the best way to get rid of ghosts, bad vibes and rotten days. That’s what everything we do, draw, design and think is for.
WHAT ANIMALS WE ARE!
EIn arguments between humans, animals, mountains, flowers, tadpoles, trees and rivers, we almost never take the humans’ side. People shout a lot, but they aren’t always right. Animals are cooler, though they smell worse. That’s why we surround ourselves with them.
