We join the 1st Winter Expedition to The Nanga Parbat

Kukuxumusu designed a special tee shirt for the expedition of Simone Moro and Denis Urubko

The Kukuxumusu Drawing Factory will accompany the Italian mountaineer, Simone Moro and his companion on this expedition, the Kazakh, Denis Urubko, in their attempt to reach the summit of the Nanga Parbat in winter; something which has never been achieved before.

The Drawing Factory has designed a special tee shirt for this expedition for these two veteran mountaineers. The expedition will set off this coming 26th of December for Pakistan and it is expected that it will take three months to finally achieve their goal of reaching the summit in winter of this ninth highest mountain in the world. Cory Richards, from Canada, the cameraman of the expedition, could not finally join the expedition and he will be replaced by the italian Matteo Zanga.

Moro and Urubko are two renowned mountaineers with a long and successful background in the mountaineering world and well-known for their singular manner of mountain-climbing. They do not use either Sherpas or any form of altitude aid and they themselves carry all their equipment and prepare their own route, etc. With the winter season about to set in, they will also have to face extreme cold conditions and a constant wind flow.

All going well, they should have achieved their goal by next March.
